65th Anniversary of NASA (Part 2)

06:35

For 65 years NASA has expanded humanities knowledge of space and our own planet. After the success of the Apollo mission and the cooling of the Space Race, the agency opened the doors to international collaboration and began to consider what the next era of space flight would be. In part two of this look into the history of NASA, Nightly Films explores the growth of international collaboration in Space, the impact and legacy of the Space Shuttle program and the monumental accomplishment of the International Space Station – as well as looking into what is in store for NASA’s future.
